Best deal ever!!!
So I'm going to the Camera Shop in Delray to return a filter my mom bought. It wasn't her fault or anything, it was just a misunderstanding. I wanted to get a filter for infrared. I come home and I see a red filter. Ughhh....
I go and ask about any other filters for infrared (since there are some that block most light and stuff like that). The guys tells me that he has no idea if there are any other filters, and he thought it would be alright if I used a red filter. So I leave unhappy and unsatisfied.
As I'm getting in my car, I realized that Age told me of another camera store around here. So I decide to lurk around and try to find it. Turns out, it was right next to the Delray Bru's Room, which I've been to a million times. Sweet!!
I walk in, and I'm amazed at how big the store is, and all the stuff they have. Jsut then, I see it. In a glass case, on the top shelf. SX-70. I've been wanting this camera for a looooooooooooooooong time, but didn't feel like spending $150 (which is how much one usually goes on ebay...a good sx-70, not a crappy one) on one since I'm not a millionaire. I didn't want to look desperate, in case the guy tries to trick me or something, so I acted calm, asked about infrared filters, hands me the perfect filter, stoked that I got it, I tell him I'm just gonna look around.
So I'm looking at all the books and stuff for sale, stuff not for sale, stuff. I come back to that glass case and just stare at it. There are stickers on it that say something like PX124, "manual, flash, case", and 60. I'm thinking this is going to be a lot of money. I then make myself a commitment. If it is under $100, I'll take it.
I ask the guy if they are selling the camera (remember, I'm acting calm, so this was like a "Oh...uh...hey...you selling this right here?"). The guys comes over and starts telling me info about the camera that I already know. He tells me it is really hard to find the right film for it. I tell him, and kind of ask him at the same time, about a method to use regular polaroid 600 film. He tells me that it wouldn't work. But I knew.
So after talking about it, I ask about the stickers. Turns out, the whole package was only $60! And it came with a bunch of stuff. Two flashes, the camera, manuals, the camera case, and the bigger carrying case (which is probably the most expensive item of all of them). I calmly say, "Yea...uh...I'll take it".
Definately worth the price. Check out my flickr for some shots I've taken.

I'm the only one that updates this thing
Wow. What a great weekend...
I'm kinda serious, kinda not. It all started Friday, when I didn't go to do my community service. And I really needed to do it that day to complete my early "departure" from probation. So, now I'm planning on ending in one more month. Crap...
So, what did I do? Eat with Josh and Chris. Then seshed my house. Then...work...which was not as bad as I thought it would've/could've been. It was busy, of course, but I managed to not kill myself. Even though I had some complaints, especially my favorite one (which is also my weirdest one) being "There are ants coming out of my fries". Yea...some Friday the 13th stuff right there.
After that crap, I was destined to see the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie, whether it being me by myself or having people tag along. Of course, the latter was the better option and actually happened. So, it was me, Ash, Chris, Josh, Johnny, Stencil, and Harold going to Muvico at City Place at 12:35 AM. The movie could not have been more funnier/weirder/better/confusing/awesome than it was. I loved it. And no, I wasn't high or anything.
So that was Friday. Saturday comes along, and I should've just stayed the night at work since I had to be there in the morning. Nothing special really happened, since I was working a double. Well, during the night shift, I made a decent amount of money since my partner was very dehydrated in the beginning of the shift, and then later on came back after having some water. But yeah, after work, I went home to go to sleep.
Sunday was alright, again waking up early to go to work. For some reason, it didn't seem that busy, but I was running everywhere. Everyone wanted everything at once. And since I am awesome, I left work this morning with a large amount of cash. Good thing too since I owed my sister $60. Yay...
And now I am typing this waiting to go to sleep to go to school tomorrow morning to see if I did, in fact, get a bettter grade on my retake tests for physics. Hopefully I did, so I can just cruise by the last test. Hopefuly...

I finally quit my job
Wow...tonight was my last night working at that sports bar. I've been bussing there for almost two years (in August), and I just had enough of it. My initial plans, when I first applied to work there, was to bus for a little while, then bump myself up to a server. Well, thanks to the great management, and that little sin called lying, I was never able to serve because of this or that (whatever excuse my manager decided to tell me). Anyways, I found another restaraunt that were looking for servers. It's not the best place, but I have plenty of friends working there, and plus, I need to get the experience for O-town.
So yeah, from now on, I'll be a server.

I need for this month and next month to be over with
Okay, I've decided that I am not dropping my dump physics 2 class. I thought it would be easier to take in UCF with an easier to understand professor, and maybe with Troy. But, I just got my last test (that I completely bombed. Seriously, I had no idea what I was doing. All I did was put some stuff down that looked right) and I got a 72 C. So, I was thinking, this class right here, with this professor, is the easiest physics 2 there is. Physics 2 is meant to be hard. So, I'm pretty much screwed with this class.
Plus, the lab right now is so easy, I'm glad I'm taking it. I'm sure the lab at UCF would have been much harder and more complicated. But anyways, once April is over, I'll finally be free.
P.S.
All this talk of UCF makes you wonder if I even got accepted, huh?
well...I DID!

Pray for Ralph
I know I didn't "update" this blogger or whatever, but things have happened. I'm not really gonna go into great detail about Ralph, but I will say he needs to be in everyone's prayers.
